Document Description Arden's unfaithful wife Alicia falls in love with their servant Mosby. She promises two different servants that they each can marry Mosby's sister if they succeed in killing Arden for her. She also approaches one of Arden's enemies who hires two incompetent villains to attempt the kill. There are several unsuccessful attempts but in the end Arden is stabbed to death with his wife striking the final blow. The body and weapons are discovered and all of the murderers are sentenced to death.
