Document Description Opera based on the fairy tale Cendrillion (Cinderella) by Charles Perrault. The opera differs from the classic fairy tale in that the wicked stepmother is replaced by an evil stepfather, Don Magnifico, and the Fairy Godmother is instead a philosopher named Alidoro.
