Document Description | Compared to the 1795 version there are differences in detail throughout, each version contains songs and passages not in the other. Compared also to the 1833 version and The Plays and Poem of R. B. Sheridan, published in 1928 the Manuscript differs correspondingly from these editions. As The Camp is now generally assumed to be at least in part Sheridan's, it seems most convenient here to attribute it to him without question. |
