Additional Information The manuscript is endorsed with an 'X'. The previous title, 'The Double Deceit', has been deleted and a prologue is included. Compared to the printed version there are numerous differences, each version contains songs and dialogue not in the other; the prologue is not printed. The printed version is the first edition as it was acted at Covent Garden Theatre, and is much later than the manuscript version.
