Document Description Based on the biblical stories of Solomon. He and his wife celebrate the consecration of a temple and their love. Act two features the famous biblical fable of two 'Harlots' both claiming to be the mother of a child. Solomon suggests cutting the child in half and rewards the woman who was not willing to do so as the true mother. Finally, the third act features a visit from the Queen of Sheba to Solomon's kingdom.
