Manuscript contains two slightly varying prologues, one dated Apr. 26, 1789 (and, on verso, Apr. 28, 1789); title-page adds to title, To the Memory of Hogarth. Ut Pictura Poesis. Compared to the printed 'Ut Pictura Poesis! or, The Enraged Musician', 1789 there are a few differences. John payne Collier in Biographia Dramatica states 'It is Hogarths Picture ['The Enraged Musician'] put into words'.
