Additional Information Application February 10, 1810, Thomas Harris, Covent Garden Theatre. Manuscript dated by Larpent February 12, a few passages marked in pencil, by Examiner(?), cast. John Payne Collier in Biographia Dramatica (s.v. A Budget of Blunders) 'It see manuscript first to have been called ‘MadnessRules the Hour’ but the title and some parts being objected to by the licenser on account of allusion to the Kings insanity, they were altered-One copy was sent to the licenser on 10th. Febry by Harris and the amended Copy on the 14 Feby by Kemble'. See LA 1612
